NAMI Glendale offers an array of  support groups for people living with mental illness as well as for their families, friends, loved ones, and supporters.

NAMI Family Support Groups offer support for family members and loved ones of those living with a mental illness. We offer these groups in English and Spanish

"Using the support group model is so essential to the success of our family support groups. Without the training, networking, and support of the group members I fear that support groups would become nothing more than "cry" sessions or “gripe” sessions. As a group the collective wisdom covered a lot of possibilities towards the issues."

Grupo de Apoyo Familiar en Español

The English language Family Support Groups meet every week on Tuesday and Sunday.

NEW LOCATION:  Our Tuesday Evening Support Group now meets at First Presbyterian Church of Burbank,

 521 E. Olive Avenue, Burbank,CA 91501. 

As usual, the group goes from 6:00pm - 7:30 pm.  There is plenty of onsite and street parking.

Please note: Only the Tuesday Family Support Groups are moving.  The Connnections Peer Support Group continues to meet at the old location (see below).

NAMI Recovery Support Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 6:00 pm -7:30 p,m at Didi Hirsch, Glendale (map).

The Connections Support Group will continue to meet at Didi Hirsch even as our family groups will now meet at a new location (see above).
