NAMI Support Groups

NAMI Multnomah offers the following support groups to help families and individuals living with a mental illness. Other support groups are listed on the Community Support page.  NAMI Multnomah also offers a wide range of informational materials  beneficial to those living with a mental illness and their families and friends. Our lending library has many new books and videos.

NAMI Multnomah "First Step" inpatient program

A core of dedicated volunteers has been visiting in-patients at area hospitals, providing support and informing them of NAMI resources to help their recovery after discharge.  The program is popular with patients and staff, and is bringing new members and new talents to NAMI.

Advocates Network

"Talk it Over" Support Group for families with a child or teen struggling with mental illness
