There are several NAMI Support Groups that are ongoing in Hennepin County. NAMI support groups are peer groups. Facilitators are people experiencing a mental illness or family members with training. They are drop in groups. No need to call or register. Come as you are!
Many people find support groups to be a meaningful part of their recovery. For family members this safe place to talk can help relieve stress and improve their understanding of their loved ones struggles and what might help. Groups typically do not run on Holidays. On those date you may want to call before attending.
Friday night groups at Mount Olivet do not meet the 3rd Friday of July and December. Please join us for the NAMI Hennepin Picnic in July and the Annual Member Holiday Party in December!
