Making the Decision to Quit Smoking: Ready or Not?

Patricia Folan, Director, Center for Tobacco Control, North Shore-LIJ Health System

Learn about the benefits of giving up smoking and some perceived barriers to quitting, especially among individuals with mental illness. Attendees will receive information about resources to help them quit comfortably, including local resources available through North Shore-LIJ and other resources.

The meeting will start at 7:30 in Sloman Auditorium, Zucker Hillside Hospital, 266th Street and 76th Avenue, Glen Oaks, NY. The Caring and Sharing support group meets beforehand at 6:00.
