NAMI Monthly Speaker Meetings

Wednesday, February 13 is our next meeting. The speaker will be William I. Dorfman, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology and Associate Director of Clinical Training in the Center for Psychological Studies, Nova Southeastern University. He will speak on the impact on families of serious and persistent mental illness.

Also, the two individuals who received scholarships from NAMI will report on the Florida State Annual Meeting held in Sarasota in December, 2012

Everyone is welcome to attend. Meetings are free and reservations are not required.

Friday Night Socials for Adult Mental Health Consumers 2013 Schedule

Broward County Parks and Recreation partners with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Broward County to provide

special nights out for mental health consumers. Ages 18 and up are invited to enjoy a free night of music, refreshments,

dancing, and door prizes from 7 to 9:30 p.m. For further information, call the Special Populations Section at 954-357-8170,
