The programs offer various forms of treatment including detoxification, rehabilitation, and psychiatric care. Treatment programs are located in VA medical centers and clinics.

Health Care - Pharmacy Service
Pharmacy Service provides prescription drugs and medical
supplies from VA pharmacies to eligible veterans. To qualify for the prescription benefit provided by VA Pharmacy Service, you must be enrolled in and receiving health care from the VA, health care system or be eligible based on of the exception in the law.
Health Care - Nursing Home Care
Nursing home care can be provided in VA or private nursing homes for veterans who are in need of care, but are not acutely ill and not in need of hospital care. Priority is given to veterans with service-connected disabilities. If space and resources are available, other veterans may be considered.
