NAMIWalks is such a wonderful, family-friendly morning event with fun activities for the kids...like face painting!



NAMIWalks for the Mind of America is an annual, nationwide fundraising and mental health awareness Walk held in 90 communities around the country. The purpose is to raise awareness, fight Stigma, and increase resources to support NAMI’s programs and services.

• There is no walker registration fee for the Walk. All participants are encouraged to collect donations from family members, friends, co-workers and business associates. Sign up here: NAMIWalks Registration and Info

• All proceeds from the Walk are used to fund NAMI’s programs. These programs include support, education, and advocacy involving Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Panic Disorder, Schizophrenia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Borderline Personality Disorder.

• To form a team & become a team captain, walk with an existing team or make a donation to support the Walk, use our NAMIWalks website to register now.

Register by mail: NAMI Mid-Carolina NAMIWalks, P.O. Box 2526, Columbia, SC 29202. NAMI Mid-Carolina is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Donations are tax deductible.

• All walkers who raise $100 or more will receive a NAMIWalks event T-shirt. The Walk will go on, rain or shine.
