Welcome to the website of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Glendale

NAMI Glendale.

 

  • Mental Illness can affect persons of any age, race, religion or socioeconomic status.
  • One in four adults experiences a mental health disorder in a given year.
  • One in 17 adults or 5% lives with a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, major depression or bi-polar disorder.
  • Mental illness is a medical condition that disrupts a person's thinking, feeling, mood, ability to relate to others and daily functioning.
  • The good news is that recovery is possible!  

NAMI Glendale offers an array of peer education and support programs to help individuals living with mental illness and their families.

We provide support, education and advocacy to family members and friends of those suffering with severe mental illness. 

NAMI Family Support Group support group meets at 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM each Tuesday evening at:
