NAMI Rochester is dedicated to providing support, education, and advocacy to individuals and families of all ethnic backgrounds affected by mental illness in Monroe and the surrounding counties.

Our Mission:

NAMI Rochester’s mission is to provide support, education and advocacy to individuals and families of all cultural backgrounds who are living with mental illness. NAMI Rochester is dedicated to educating the public about mental illness, offering resources to those in need and insisting that mental illness become a high national priority.

NAMI Meetings:

All NAMI meetings are free of charge and we welcome you to attend.

Membership:

We invite you to become a member of NAMI Rochester which includes membership to NAMI NYS and NAMI National. Levels of Membership are as follows:

• Friend: $35.00 - $99.00
• Sustaining: $100.00-$249.00
• Benefactor: $250.00-$499.00
• Circle of Hope: $500.00-$999.00
• Angel: $1,000+
• Open Door: $3.00 for individuals with limited income

Membership entitles you to receive local, state, and national newsletters as well as other publications. Members have voting privileges and receive discounts on literature and merchandise. For Friend through Angel Level Memberships $10.00 of the annual membership fee is sent to the NAMI National, and $3.00 is sent to NAMI NYS. For Open Door Memberships, $1.00 is sent to NAMI National and $1.00 is sent to NAMI NYS. You are welcome to donate a membership on behalf of others with limited income.
