NAMI Rome hosted several events--ranging from an In Our Own Voice presentation at Floyd's Highland Rivers Health peer support group, to its annual candlelight service, a new offering "Send Stigma into the Clouds" balloon release, and resource/information tables at Berry College and Shorter University. Twentyfive books about mental illness were donated to the public libraries at Dalton and Rockmart and were displayed along with their books on mental illness and information about mental illness.
