New FAMILY-TO-FAMILY CLASSES will be offered by NAMI-Douglas County on consecutive Sundays from 3:00 to 5:30 pm beginning March 9th and continuing through May 25th, 2014. Classes are for caregivers and family members of those with mental illnesses. The classes will be held in conference room "A" on the lower level conference room at Lawrence Memorial Hospital,325 Maine Street, Lawrence, Kansas. There is no charge for the class but applications must be completed prior to the first class. Class size is limited. *The NAMI Recovery and Hope network (RAHN) is another Lawrence-based NAMI affiliate founded in 2004. NAMI RAHN is a Consumer-Run Organization with drop-in hours, whereas NAMI Douglas County is a more traditionally structured affiliate.  We have different membership activities but partner with each other on many projects.
