NAMI MOBILE

NAMI Mobile meeting for 2007 are scheduled as follows: Jan 15, Feb 19, Mar 19, Apr 16, May 21, Jun 18, Jul 16, Aug 20, Sept 17, Oct 15, Nov 19.  December to be announced.  Meeting are at Springhill Baptist Church Activity Center, 6:30 Business and 7:00 Regular.  For additional information, contact Zina May, (251)433-4060.  Email address is May230@bellsouth.net.

NAMI JACKSONVILLE
All meetings are held in the K.L. Brown Funeral Home Community Room in Jacksonville, Alabama.
In addition to these meeting, NAMI Jacksonville offers the Family to Family Education Program.  For more information, call 256-435-5240

May 2007 meeting will be in the community room behind K.L. Brown's.  The speaker will be Roy Chisam (a mental health consumer. 

At the July meeting, Allie is to speak about the Recovery Conference at Shocco Spring.

July 16, 2007 - The Board of Directors will meet at Sara's at 1:30 p.m.

October 4, 2007 - Free workshop at the Regional Hospital, Decatur.  Breakfast & lunch free.

NAMI Decatur

Volunteers needed: Volunteers are needed on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Friendship House, a program of the MHA in Morgan County for individuals recovering from severe mental illness.  For more information, contact Friendship House Director Nina Mae Blackburn at 353-1160 or Brenda Tinger at 306-0898.  Volunteers help prepare and serve meals, and assist with programs.

NAMI Baldwin County

NAMI Baldwin County has an Educational Meeting the fourth Tuesday of each month (except December) at 7:00 p.m. at the Baldwin County Mental Health Center on East Fig Street in Foley.

They also have two support groups for anyone with a mental illness as well as any family member or friend of someone with a mental illness

        1. Bay Minette: Public Library, Tuesday evenings, 6 p.m.
        2. Foley: 302 South Alston Street (NAMI office), Tuesday evenings, 6-7:30 p.m.  This group is held at the          
            Baldwin County MHC on East Fig Street in Foley on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 6-7:00 p.m.,
            just prior to the Education Meetings.
