Next Family-to-Family Class

The next Family-to-Family class will begin Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Classes will meet from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm every Wednesday for 11 consecutive weeks. The course and all material are FREE! To enroll in this life changing course call (859) 272-7891 or email tracy@namilex.org.  Family-to-Family is an education/support course for relatives of those who are living with a mental illness. Topics covered include signs and symptoms of mental illness, research on the brain, medications, treatment modalities, and strategies for handling crisis and relapse. Skill-building exercises in communication, problem-solving, empathy and self-care will be taught. Class size is limited and requires advance enrollment.
