The support groups are run by people living with a mental illness themselves. Each group meets weekly for 90 minutes, is confidential, free of charge, and is open to anyone with a mental illness, regardless of diagnosis.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND PEER SUPPORT CENTER
NAMI-Westside offers an array of education and training programs and services for consumers, family members, providers and the general public. These include Family-to-Family, Peer-to-Peer, NAMI Support Groups, Education Night and more.
From its inception in 1979, NAMI has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI promises to build better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness by offering one of our signature programs, the Family-to-Family Education Program. This is a free 12-week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe brain disorders (mental illnesses).
