About NAMI of Cheyenne

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a grassroots, family and consumer, self-help, support, education and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses.  Severe mental illnesses are biologically based brain disorders that can profoundly disrupt a person’s ability to think, feel, and relate to others and their environment.  NAMI of Cheyenne serves the consumers, their families and friends in the Cheyenne Wyoming area with mental health education and support.

NAMI of Cheyenne holds support group meetings on the third Thursday of each month. Support group meetings are informal, open meetings for family members, friends and consumers.

NAMI of Cheyenne also conducts Family-to-Family Education Program training annually, provided there are enough enrollees.  See our Family-to-Family Education Program page for more details.
