News and Updates:

The Amarillo Chapter of NAMI conducts their meetings on the fourth Saturday of each month. Those living with mental illness and family members are encouraged to participate.

The next meeting is scheduled for May 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM


All local NAMI Meetings are held at The Agape Center, 1515 S. Buchanan St. in the former Buchanan Street Chapel. All members and potential members can enter through the glass doors in front of the building.



Family to Family Class

When:   Thursdays, March 21-June 6, 2013, 6:00pm - 8:30pm
Where:  Texas Panhandle Center Office, 1745 Avondale (in Avondale Shopping Center) , Amarillo
Information:  Family to Family is an informative 12-week class for the loved ones of those who have a mental illness

Connection Recovery Support Group

When: Each Tuesday, 12:30-2:00 pm
Where: The Agape Center, 1515 S. Buchanan St., Amarillo
Information: Connection Recovery is a free support group for those living with mental illness, led by trained facilitators who are in recovery from mental illness. People may attend as needed with no registration required.
