        WELCOME TO NAMI KANE COUNTY NORTH,  ILLINOIS!

                                       WHO WE ARE

NAMI Kane County North, Inc. (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is a

grassroots self-help, support, education and advocacy organization

that serves families and individuals who live with mental illness.

                                       MISSION

NAMI Kane County North is dedicated to the welfare of people with mental

illness and their families.  Our primary goals are in the areas of support,

education in mental illness, and advocacy for improved and expanded

mental health services. 

                                 OUR MEMBERSHIP

Our Membership consists of family members, friends, professionals, 

and individuals recovering from mental illness.  To view a list of

                                         MEETINGS

Our general  monthly meetings are held on the 2ND Saturday of each

month (except July) at the Ecker Center, Elgin, 9 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

        2ND TUESDAY MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP IN ELGIN

                               FOR FAMILy MEMBERS

                 PROVENA ST. JOSEPH HOSPITAL, ELGIN

       (St. Mary'S room on the lower level by the cafeteria)

                                6:30-8:00 p.m.
