About NAMI of Clallam County:
Formed in 1980 as Peninsula Advocates for the Mentally Ill, the organization joined with the National Alliance on Mental Illness in 1998 and became NAMI of Clallam County. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit steered by a Board of Directors, and consist of over 60 dues-paying members throughout Clallam County.
At least one in four people is touched by a diagnosable brain disorder. Mental wellness is a significant concern for all of us--families, friends, professionals, and those living with a mental health issue. JOIN US in our efforts to spread accurate information, reduce stigma, advocate for improved services, and help people live a better life today.
You can participate by paying dues or donating to help with outreach, attending or facilitating free support groups or classes, contacting policy makers, pitching in at social events, helping to raise funding, or in a myriad of other ways. Don't wait--Click the Membership tab at the left of your screen and sign up today. We need you.
