Reception and Presentation of the 2014 NAMI Scientific Research Award
The Embassy of Italy | 3000 Whitehaven Street NW, Washington, D.C.
Thursday evening, November 13, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.
Join us as we once again celebrate scientific research and advocacy and the inspiration that this work can lead to in the future. The NAMI Scientific Research Award is supported by the Peter Corbin Kohn Memorial Fund.
The event, sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), is an invitation only evening with networking opportunities with an audience of leading members of the scientific and research communities, the media, members of Congress, political leaders, academia, community leaders and the corporate sector.
This year we will spend the evening at the Embassy of Italy at 3000 Whitehaven Street off Massachusetts Avenue NW, in its beautiful glass- domed atrium with its modern Italian design and furnishings and classical paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries. The unique setting provides a perfect backdrop for our theme of Inspiring Hope Through Research.
