David Levy
David Levy is the Chief Financial officer of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. He is responsible for the financial function of the organization, including all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, investments and risk management. He is also responsible for the organization’s office services and human resource functions. Mr. Levy also serves as the staff liaison to the Finance and Audit Committees of the Board of Directors.
Prior to NAMI, Mr. Levy held various executive financial management positions at Fox Television/WTTG, Discovery Networks International and National Public Radio. In addition to his experience at media companies, Mr. Levy worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Community Science, a research and development organization that works with governments, foundations, and non-profit organizations on solutions to social problems and as VP of Finance and Administration at The Technology Council of Maryland, a trade association promoting technology and biotechnology companies in Maryland.
Mr. Levy received his undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University and has both an MBA and a Masters in Television Management from Boston University.
