The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest organization focused on serious mental illnesses, is seeking editorial interns during the fall 2012 and spring 2013 to help create original content for online and print publications. Interns will be provided the opportunity to fill their portfolio with published work by writing feature articles, analyzing and synthesizing research, conducting interviews, writing book and movie reviews and a multitude of other possibilities.
Applicants should have strong writing skills and preferably also have an interest or knowledge in topics related to the mental health field. Experience writing for other school or community publications, understanding scientific research are also beneficial.
