The NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program is a free 12-session course for family members and caregivers of persons with mental illness. Participants will walk away from this course with a more thorough knowledge of the clinical treatment of these illnesses and the skills necessary to cope more effectively. This course is also available in Spanish. Please call our office to register for the next course.

NAMI Basics is a free 6-session education course for parents and other kinship caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental health illnesses. The course is taught by trained teachers who are also parents/caregivers of individuals who developed the symptoms of mental illness in childhood. Classes include: getting an accurate diagnosis, treatment options, communication skills, handling challenging behavior, and advocating for your child.
