Welcome to NAMI Oregon
Mental Health Lobby Day in Salem
Make your voice heard! NAMI Oregon will hold a mental health lobby day for our members at the State Capitol on Thursday, February 12. A policy briefing and continental breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the Montag Den in the Montag Center at Willamette University, across the street from the Capitol. Click here for a map of the campus. Registration is now closed, but we can still add NAMI members to appointments that have been made with legislators. For more information, please contact Michelle Madison at (503) 230-8009 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
About NAMI Oregon
The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Oregon (NAMI Oregon) is a statewide grassroots organization with more than 1,700 members in 14 affiliates; it is one of 50 state organizations that comprise the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Our mission is to improve the quality of life of individuals living with mental illness and their families and loved ones through education, support, and advocacy. Our statewide toll-free Helpline (800-343-6264) is answered by trained volunteers and staff who provide information and referrals to mental health resources.

NAMI Oregon's affiliates, which rely on the support of dedicated volunteers, are vital to providing programs and services locally to let you know you are not alone. NAMI Oregon also works to ensure that everyone affected by mental illness is represented wherever decisions are made. NAMI Oregon testifies before the state legislature, serves on state planning and advisory committees, actively partners with strategic coalitions, and participates in task forces and other policy forums.
