Country Music Superstar Clint Black Holds Benefit Concert for NAMI
"NAMI stands for dignity, hope, and recovery, and I stand with them," declared Grammy-award winning country music superstar Clint Black at his 'Time for Hope' fundraising concert in Nashville, Tennessee on January 13, 2005. His fans can also stand with NAMI by sending him a thank-you note and by purchasing his CD albums from the NAMI National website. Through a special link to Amazon.com, a small amount of the purchase price of each album will go to support NAMI programs.
Black began his music career at age 13 when he stole his older brother's harmonica. His first album, Killin' Time, was an instant hit in 1989.
His many albums since then include two Greatest Hits CD's (Vols I and II) in 1996 and 1998. His most recent album, Spend My Time, released in 2004, has been described as having "some of the most beautiful and wistful love songs of his career."
