A Tribute to Dr Seyed Ebrahim Tchehrazi

Welcome to Dr. Seyed Ebrahim Tchehrazi's (Chehrazi) Memorial web page for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. This fundraising page has been created for donation to NAMI in memory of Dr. Tchehrazi who dedicated his professional life promoting mental health. He was the founding chairman and professor of department of Neurology at Tehran University where he practiced for 30 years pioneering in the fields of neurology and psychiatry. He established Chehrazi Hospital and the Salamat-e-Fekr Mental Health Institute. He co-founded the Committee Against Use of Alcohol and Opium and brought successful legislation inhibiting the then rampant use in Iran.
