![]() National Alliance on Mental Illness page printed from http://www.nami.org/ (800) 950-NAMI; info@nami.org ©2013 In Loving Memory of Sandy Hook Elementary School AngelsSandy Hook Elementary School Angels Our heart goes out to the families of the victims, the community and those on the front lines of dealing with mental illness on a daily basis. I read the following article and wanted to do something about supporting those who have the burden of protecting the rest of us from the dark side of mental illness. Decided easiest was to make a donation somewhere. Couldn't find a page tied to Sandy Hook for it already, so started one. Hopefully NAMI can help make a difference. When faced with the tragedy our first reaction is to protect our own babies. That is our responsibility to them. ...however bigger, grander responsibility is to make sure the babies we are responsible for get the support, love, counseling and/or meds they need so they never hurt other's babies. Donating through this page is easy, fast and secure. Any amount of $10 or more will make a difference for NAMI, but if you are capable - please try to give generously.
