New Resource from NAMI’s CIT Center: CIT FAQ

NAMI’s CIT Center is proud to announce the release of a new resource on CIT:  Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). This new FAQ helps to answer common questions that arise when communities first learn about CIT, such as:

  • What is CIT?
  • How do I get my law enforcement agency trained?
  • Is there a CIT program in my city/state?

The FAQ directs readers new to CIT to resources and information that can help them learn about CIT and get the ball rolling in their communities. At the same time it helps to dispel misconceptions that CIT is just a training program and introduces readers to the need for dynamic local partnerships to create and sustain CIT programs. To access our FAQ, visit NAMI’s CIT Advocacy Toolkit.
