Guyla Daley is treasurer and chair of the finance committee on the NAMI Board of Directors. For the past 26 years, she has owned and operated a Radio Shack dealership.
Ms. Daley became involved in NAMI in 1995 when her stepson, who is living with bipolar disorder, came to live with her.
For four years, Ms. Daley has served her affiliate in South Carolina as both a program chair and as president. She has been a member of the board of Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center since 1997, where she served as chair for four years. Ms. Daley received the James B. Hilderbrand Board Service Award for dedicated outstanding service as a board member. In March 2003, she received the Louise R. Hassenplug Award for Outstanding Advocacy for People with Mental Illnesses and their families by SC Mental Health Commission.
Ms. Daley graduated from the University of Georgia with an accounting degree and is a member of NAMI South Carolina and NAMI Beaufort County.
