Job Summary: The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) a national health organization headquartered in Arlington, VA, seeks an experienced National Walk Manager to join our WALK team. The National Walk Manager is responsible supporting and developing NAMIWalk events in designated geographical areas, working closely with local volunteers and staff to reach monetary and participation goals. Qualifications: An experienced fund-raising professional with a minimum of five years of experience in successfully implementing special events, with a proven track record of reaching fundraising goals. Must be independent, self-motivated and possess excellent verbal/written, communications, and organizational skills. A team player with experience in working with volunteers and volunteer communities. Must have computer literacy; knowledge of TeamRaiser and Convio is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates, depending upon their geographical location, may have the option to work remotely from home. Extensive travel, up to 30% of schedule, may be required.
