Job Summary: The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), a national health organization headquartered in Arlington, VA., seeks an experienced National Walk Manager to join our team. The National Walk Manager is responsible for coaching and guiding the implementation of NAMIWalk events in designated geographical areas, working closely with supports and volunteers to reach monetary and participation goals. Qualifications: An experienced fund-raising professional with a minimum of five years of experience in successfully implementing special events, with a proven track record of reaching fundraising goals. Must be independent, self-motivated and possess excellent verbal/written, communications, and organizational skills. A team player with experience in working with volunteers and volunteer communities. Must have computer literacy; knowledge of online fundraising tools is essential. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
