Senators Oppose CMS Medicaid Rehabilitation Rules

Last week, a bipartisan group of 39 U.S. Senators joined together to press for a moratorium on regulations that would severely limit the ability of state Medicaid agencies to fund important services under the Rehabilitation Option.  The letter was directed to Senators Max Baucus (D-MT) and Charles Grassley (R-IA), the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Senate Finance Committee urging them to include a moratorium on the proposed regulations as part of a package of Medicare reforms the Committee will consider next week.

NAMI is extremely grateful to Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Robert Casey (D-PA) and Susan Collins (R-ME) for their leadership in organizing this important effort to stop the proposed CMS regulations.
