I am the only child of a couple who suffered the trauma of experiencing WWII in Italy, the battlefield of all participating countries. My father took his anger out on me. He put me through maternal deprivation even though my parents are alive today. The scar of this event plus the unpleasant consequences that ensued ruin my emotional health and my career. However, with the help of antidepressants I have managed to survive. During my life I have relapsed so many time I have lost count. This happened because my ex-husband is also emotionally ill. But remember that today there is hope. Please, stick with your antidepressants and you will survive and perform better in your careers. I managed to earn two bachelor's degrees in the US even though I am an immigrant and English is language number five in my head. Also, I arrived when I was already an adult, which means English will forever be difficult to handle for me.
