Susan Gaffney
Susan Gaffney is the senior project manager for operations at NAMI. In this role, Ms. Gaffney manages and oversees progress, facilitates communication and orchestrates activities to reach organizational deadlines and goals related to NAMI Standards of Excellence, a process in which NAMI is strengthening its organizational capacity at the state and local levels. Prior to her current position, Susan was the manager of external relations focusing on corporate and foundation fundraising at NAMI.
Previously, Ms. Gaffney has worked on mental health issues at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Ms. Gaffney earned her M.S. in nonprofit management and urban policy from The New School for Social Research and her B.A. in history from St. Bonaventure University.
