Charles R. Harman

In this role, Harman establishes and maintains relationships with other non-profit health organizations, corporations and trade associations. He also has served as director of communications at NAMI from 1985-1991 and as interim director of communications from 2004-2005.

Harman’s other professional experiences include serving as a regional manager for a national health care corporation, marketing and community relations director of an academic teaching hospital, and consultant to a neuroscience research center.

Harman earned bachelor and master degrees from West Virginia University, where he currently serves as an adjunct instructor of journalism, and completed an executive education program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
