 Katrina Gay

Katrina Gay is the Director of Communications for NAMI, the National Alliance for Mental Illness, where she oversees strategic and operational communications initiatives including leadership oversight of website relations, media relations, public relations and marketing initiatives, publications and NAMI’s HelpLine.

Since 1997, Ms. Gay has represented NAMI in various capacities including serving as Director of State Relations, providing testimony to Congress and various State Legislatures, and participating as a representative to the White House Conference on Mental Health. She serves on the Advisory Board for Esperanza Magazine and on numerous other committees, coalitions and advisory boards.

Prior to NAMI, Ms. Gay worked in both corporate and hospitality industry Public Relations.  She has received many peer acknowledgements including awards for her work in strategic communications.
