Job Description
HelpLine Legal Resources Volunteer Job Description The NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) National Information HelpLine seeks volunteers to provide legal referral information (not legal advice) by phone and e-mail to people needing legal assistance. Updating and expanding legal resources and compiling resource records also included. Job Requiremens Must have law degree or be in law school. Good oral and written communication skills, empathetic to problems of people with mental illness, attention to detail, team player, computer experience important. Conscientious work habits essential. Must be available at least 4 hours a week between 10 am and 6 pm M-F for at least 4-6 months.
