Internship Titles – Web Development Internships

What is in it for me? Interns will learn first-hand how to: work on a virtual team; fundraise through events using the web and mobile apps; and, create internet targeted marketing materials.

Who would you be working with? The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest organization focused on serious mental illnesses, has openings for unpaid internships in support of its nation-wide NAMIWalks Program. In this our 10th year of operation we plan to raise $10 million in events in 86 cities across America. NAMIWalks needs a few good interns to help make it happen.

Web Development Internship – Looking for 2-3 creative individuals to begin immediately to work with us to tweak our new web site launced in May. You would provide support in implementing refinements and content as well as coaching field based local leaders. This may include work occasionally on social media and mobile app. components of our program.

The length of assignments is approximately 8-12 weeks approximately 8-10 hours/week, and actual days and times are flexible to meet the intern's schedule. Once trained, interns will be able to work from home if they so desire.
