Mental Health Awareness Activities

Mental Health Month (MHM) in May and Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW) during the first full week in October both provide opportunities for public awareness activities. They are supplemented by Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, also in May, and Minority Mental Health Awareness Month in July.  Many NAMIWalks take place in May and October in with the seasonal observances.
