NAMI Supports the Keeping Families Together Act

The 109th Congress has just re-introduced the Keeping Families Together Act that will end the practice of American families giving up custody of their children to receive much needed mental health care.  The Campaign for Mental Health Reform, of which NAMI is a member, has released a statement to the press standing together for much needed mental health care reform. 

NAMI members and others are asked to take action to ensure that this important legislation receives the priority that it deserves.  To learn more about the legislation and how you can take action read our E-news for February 15, 2005.
