Welcome to my personal web page for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me. My mother suffered from a mental illness and NAMI supported me and my family during this very difficult time in our lives. My mother was treated successfully for some years and enjoyed those years of her life tremendously. She was able to work, exercise, join special groups that she was interested in and enjoy the love and companionship of family and friends. I will be forever grateful to my wonderful friends at NAMI Cleveland for helping me help my mother through her darkest days.
