Corey M. Lang
January 4, 1979-April 3, 2011
On January 4, 1979, after much anticipation, our son Corey Michael Lang was born. He was a beautiful, happy, good-natured baby. Just 364 days later he became a big brother to his sister Janelle, then became a big brother again 8 years later when Trevor was born.
As a young adult, Corey was always seeking adventure, whether it was hiking the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail, riding his bicycle to the Maine coast, or riding his motorcycle across the United States. He was also a natural athlete, and competed in triathlons and marathons.
Corey loved his family deeply and always cherished time spent at family gatherings. As mental illness took control of Corey's mind he remained the same sweet-natured, kind and generous soul he had always been.
Despite the love and support Corey received from his family, his beautiful soul was unable to find peace here on earth. We pray that he has found peace.

I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me. We were grateful to find a 3-month NAMI course offering support and guidance after Corey's initial diagnosis.
