We have created this memorial page in honor of our father Daniel Stein and in acknowledgement of the challenges of living with mental illness.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by mental illness and promotes education as well as resources for those affected.
This is a fundraising site and donations will be used to help NAMI and the numerous services they provide. We are more interested in raising awareness and empathy about the challenges of living with mental illness, for the individual as well as their family and friends. We have therefore listed a minimum fundraising goal, but please feel free to contribute as much or as little as you want. If financial contribution to this cause is not something you want, please consider taking a little bit of time to educate yourself or reach out to a loved one in your life who may be affected by mental illness.
