Maria Vicky Ortiz was part of this organization called NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) She learned each day about her disease and look at each day as another day to keep pushing...that God was with her. People are often afraid of people with a "mental illness"...lets all take the time to LEARN about it and not be scared. They are people too...just like you & me. She ended each journal entry with this quote "Like everything else this too shall pass and my life will be better." ♥ I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me.
