The NAMI Texas NAMIWalk was held on October 2nd, 2005. Here are some of the highlights:
The Lubbock Legends took 1st in team fundraising and 2nd in affiliate fundraising for the state of Texas beating their team goal of $6,000!
Sheryl Bybee was second in the state in on-line fundraising was $805 raised. Way to go Sheryl!
Thanks to all of our walkers, contributors members and all other who offered moral support, especially the following:
Rex Castle for lending his expertise of fundraising to our cause;
Lubbock Regional MHMR for their generous support of transportation and media expenses;
Janssen Pharmaceutica, Inc. for sponsoring our Donor Appreciation Dinner and Wiley's BBQ for catering the event.
