The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Oregon has a lot to offer!

NAMI Oregon is a statewide grassroots organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with mental illness and their families through:

  • Free Family-To-Family Education Classes

  • Free Family and Peer Support Groups

  • Advocacy for legislative changes that effect persons with serious mental illnesses

NAMI Oregon works to ensure that individuals and families affected by mental illness are represented where decisions are made. NAMI Oregon testifies before the state legislature, serves on state planning and advisory committees, actively partners with strategic coalitions, and participates in task forces and other policy forums.

NAMI Oregon's affiliates are vital to providing support, education, and advocacy at the local county level.  Our affiliates are unique in their strengths and rely on the support of dedicated volunteers - and all provide information and support and let you know you are not alone.
