Our Mission
NAMI Greater Milwaukee is a non-profit community-based, self-help, support, education and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of those with mental illness, their families, and those touched by mental illness.
HOORAY!!! WE HAVE A NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH PARITY BILL!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO HAVE WORKED SO LONG AND HARD FOR JUSTICE TO BE SERVED!!!

Interested in being a volunteer? NAMI Greater Milwaukee has opportunities in abundance! Without volunteers, this would just be a room full of pamphlets; the giving spirit of hundreds of caring individuals is what provides us our essence and our motivation. If you are interested, please call us at 414-344-0447, e-mail us at help@namigrm.org, or click the "Volunteer With Us" button to the left (courtesy of the Volunteer Center of Greater Milwaukee).

(Pssst... Do you have any groovy photos of this year's walk suitable for display right here on this very page? If so, call 414-344-0447 or e-mail zachq@namigrm.org. We'd love to post a couple new pix).
To Everyone who participated in the Walk on May 17th,

We raised about $65,000, which, considering the economic atmosphere, is truly amazing, proving that the people of NAMI are truly magnanimous!!! It was an overwhelming success, and once again demonstrates that caring people are the foundation of any organization.
