GENERAL MEETINGS

The NAMI-TC regular meeting is held on the third Thursday of every month.  It is OPEN to the PUBLIC.  Everyone is welcome.  Family, friends and consumers are invited to attend the meeting and become more involved in learning about, dealing with, and supporting the mentally ill and the issues that concern them.

Education Classes are Free and Open to the Public

FAMILY TO FAMILY (FTF)

VISIONS FOR TOMORROW (VFT)

NAMI-TC sponsors the FTF and VFT programs for family members who want to learn more about mental illness.  We strongly urge everyone with a family member with mental illness to enroll in a program for better understanding of the illness.  Please contact us at namitc@peoplepc.com for further information.

Helpline Support

We have both a NAMI-TC message phone center, 817-332-6600, and an NAMI-TC message email center, namitc@peoplepc.com, for anyone who wishes to call/write for information or help.  A Helpline Committee member picks up the messages daily and returns the calls or emails.  NAMI-TC can help with referrals to many places where one can receive needed services, or sometimes just lend a friendly and sympathetic ear to someone who has a problem they need to discuss.
