A message from the Team Captain:
Welcome to our Love Stories' team's page. Last year we raised almost $5,000 and came in second as far as teams go. However, you'll always be first in my book. Last year we had a wonderful and exciting walk day. I hope that this year will be even better.
As most of you know, our son Mat developed a brain disorder called Schizoaffective Disorder in his Freshman year in college. We still have a great deal of hope and faith that the battle against mental illness will be won. With NAMI's help, it will happen! That's why this walk is so important. The stronger NAMI gets, the louder our voice becomes.
As most of you know, I am a NAMI Family to Family teacher. I absolutely love teaching this wonderful class. I have met the most amazing people in my classes and have gotten back from all of them as much if not more then I was able to give my students.
I hope that you will find it in your heart to be as generous as possible. Please come out and walk with my wonderful Love Stories team. You will be so happy that you walked for this wonderful cause.
