NAMI Greenville
May 1, 2010 the Greenville “NAMI Walks” Campaign at Furman University will give us another opportunity to raise awareness. By encouraging and supporting walkers to tell the story of NAMI and the impact of mental illness on themselves and/or their loved ones, we can begin to change the way society views this issue.
This year’s walk will have a different look and feel.
Special celebrity Sponge Bob Square Pants.
Beach Bob will provide music.
Café and Then Some will bring some comic relief.
Ault About Massage accepting free appointments day of NAMI walk.
Home Depot will assist parents and their children in building wooden toys.
Greer/Greenville Police officers will be available to meet the children.
Duncan Chapel Fire Department will give tours of the truck and information on fire safety.
Seven Beauty Contestants autographing pictures and distributing crowns.
Lollipop Shop providing sweets.
“NAMI Color My World” coloring contest.
Good Boy Roy books and tee-shirts for sale.
Bark and Park /service dogs offering dog treats for our four-legged friends.
Face Painting for the young and old.
Sabarett hotdog combo meal $5.00.
Pet Dairy ice cream $1.25.
NAMI 1 IN 4 bracelets $2.00
NAMI magnets $2.00.
Additional NAMI items as available.
