NAMIWalks 2009 is HISTORY. We had 850 at the Walk, a new record.
Thanks to Steven Brown, Brandon Hays and Josh Cook, (pictured at right) of the Community Choice Credit Union Charity Golf Outing for dropping by the NAMI IOWA office and presenting a big check to Margaret Stout for $7,068.47 from their 4th Annual Charity Golf Outing held October 2. Thanks for your support Community Choice Credit Union!
The purpose of the Walk is to raise funds to support individuals and families affected by mental illness AND work on eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness.
